Black Box

A Natural-Spiritual Teaching from Umma Inanna, Spiritual Guide

Children of the Earth,

In every age there are temptations that pull people away from their natural balance. Today, that temptation often comes in the form of the black box we carry in our hands. Its glow calls to us like fire at night—warm, hypnotic, but also consuming.

The black box is not evil by itself. It is a tool, as all things are. Yet what makes it dangerous is the world it creates inside: a society of endless mirrors, where people lose themselves in images, judgments, comparisons, and rewards.

When our youth live more in that shadow-world than under the open sky, when their value is measured in numbers instead of spirit, when their hearts are drawn into endless scrolling instead of rooted in the soil of real life, they are in danger of losing what is most sacred—their soul’s natural rhythm.

Hell is not always flames. Sometimes it is the hollow ache of comparison. Sometimes it is the anxiety of not being seen. Sometimes it is the loneliness of being surrounded by millions of voices but never your own.

So I say: walk carefully with the black box. Use it as you would use fire—to light your way, not to burn your spirit. Drink from it as you would drink from water—to refresh, not to drown. Step into it as you would step into the marketplace—come, take what you need, and return home to yourself.

Do not stay too long. Do not let its pleasures replace the joy of being alive. Do not let its rewards steal the satisfaction of true human connection.

Your worth was never meant to be counted by clicks. Your beauty was never meant to be compared to strangers. Your spirit was never meant to live inside a machine.

Remember: you are made of breath, soil, water, and light. You are a child of Earth, not of algorithms.

So guard your time. Protect your heart. Keep your soul rooted in the living world. For the black box is powerful, yes—but you are the greater power.

Step away often. Touch the Earth. Breathe with the wind. Sit in silence long enough to hear your true self again.

In this way, you will not lose yourself to shadow, but remain whole, balanced, and free.
