INK-Gallery: The Hexigon Build
Building More Than a Gallery — Creating a Landmark for Rural Manitoba
Something new is coming to Manitoba.
On a piece of rural land already purchased and waiting for its next chapter, a vision is taking shape: INK-Gallery – The Hexigon Build, a one-of-a-kind creative, educational, and community gathering space designed to inspire conversation, creativity, healing, and opportunity.
This project is not a concept waiting for permission. The land has been secured. The vision is designed. The commitment has been made.
The Hexigon Build is happening.
With or without funding support, the doors of INK-Gallery will open.
The question is not if it will be built.
The question is who will help build it.
Designed as a striking six-sided gallery featuring reclaimed rail tie construction, a brilliant white roof, turquoise community-inspired accents, and copper architectural features representing the spirit of creativity, the Hexigon Build will stand as a symbol of what is possible when rural communities invest in imagination and innovation.
More than an art gallery, INK-Gallery will become:
-
A destination for visitors and tourists.
-
A creative gathering place for artists and makers.
-
A venue for workshops, exhibitions, and community events.
-
A home for art-based life coaching and personal growth programs.
-
A space where local stories, culture, and creativity can be shared.
-
A project demonstrating how rural development can blend sustainability, heritage materials, and modern design.
- Alternatively powered to respect the land we are given. (Treaty One for All Dedicated)
The building itself reflects these values. Constructed with reclaimed materials wherever possible, surrounded by welcoming verandas, and designed with expansive windows and a movable glass wall that opens the gallery to the outdoors, the Hexigon Build represents openness, accessibility, and connection.
This is not simply another building.
It is a statement that rural communities deserve bold ideas.
It is proof that innovation does not belong exclusively to cities.
It is an invitation for Manitoba to invest in a project that celebrates creativity, entrepreneurship, tourism, wellness, and community development all under one roof.
We are currently seeking funding partners, sponsors, community champions, grant opportunities, material contributors, and supporters who want to be part of creating something unique for Manitoba.
Every contribution helps expand the vision.
Every partnership helps create opportunities for artists, visitors, and residents.
Every supporter becomes part of the story.
